Shiitake. The most widely known of the exotic mushroom varieties, with meaty flesh and a distinct, earthy tone they go well with a wide variety of dishes.

We’ve picked the small, baby shiitake for a shroom that the perfect size to put into stir-fries and soups without the need for cutting up.

This is just my opinion, but they are a little sweeter than the fully grown mushrooms – not quite as strong as Shiitake but an excellent, delicate boost in flavour to any dish.
